Marine projects in Tanzania fail on coordination far more often than on engineering. Materials arrive after the crew. A survey finding lands after the scope is fixed. A slipway becomes unavailable in the one week it was needed. We manage projects to close those gaps before they open.
What we manage
- Scope definition — converting a condition survey or a client brief into a costed, sequenced, buildable scope of work
- Programme and scheduling — realistic schedules built around actual material lead times, yard and slipway availability, weather windows and crew mobilisation
- Cost control — budget management, variation control and transparent reporting against the agreed scope
- Procurement — sourcing of steel, machinery, spares, coatings and consumables, locally and internationally
- Site supervision — competent supervision on site throughout, with a named point of contact
- Quality assurance — inspection and test planning, hold points, and documented verification
- HSE management — method statements, risk assessment, PPE provision and safety supervision
- Handover documentation — complete records at completion
Consultancy
Where you have your own delivery capability, we can act in an advisory capacity — technical due diligence on a vessel acquisition, independent review of a repair specification, tender evaluation support, or a second opinion on a survey finding that carries significant cost.
Labour supply
We supply skilled tradespeople for shipbuilding, marine works, dredging and heavy industry — welders, fitters, riggers, painters, electricians, machine operators and general crew. Personnel are supervised, PPE-equipped and deployed against a defined scope, whether they are supplementing your workforce or delivering an entire package.
